While organizations invest heavily in technical expertise, program delivery, and project management, far less attention goes to developing the capacity to lead change. Yet our ability to navigate uncertainty, respond to resistance, build trust, and adapt may be one of the most important factors in creating tomorrow's solutions.
Across the energy sector, organizations are facing more nuanced and complex challenges that call for human-centered approaches. Whether you're designing programs or implementing them, shaping policy, engaging customers and communities, or supporting organizational strategy, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: technical solutions alone are no longer enough.
Applying Encolor's learning framework – Learn – Reflect – Apply, this interactive 90-minute workshop introduces participants to foundational concepts of change leadership and change management, helping them build the capacity to respond to change with intention and strengthen the human-centered leadership skills needed to turn good ideas into real impact.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Describe key concepts of change leadership and change management
Recognize common responses to change and identify strategies for navigating them effectively
Develop one practical action you can take to strengthen your capacity to lead change
